Supplementary Information Forms - Reception 2021
Following the easing of restrictions as Bexley moves from the National Lockdown to Tier 2, parents wishing to submit Supplementary Information Forms (SIF) for Reception places in September 2021 can bring these, along with the necessary documents, to the school between 10am and 2pm Monday-Thursday from Wednesday 2nd December 2020. We are unable to take any SIFs on Fridays - unless arranged by prior appointment.
Unfortunately, the restrictions in place mean that you will not be able to come on site, but a member of our Admissions Team will be able to assist you at the school gate.
Deadline for all application paperwork to be returned to schools or submitted online is Friday 15th January 2021.
We are an academy school and part of Trinitas Academy Trust, which is the admissions authority for all schools in the Trust. The admissions policy includes our over-subscription criteria. As we are over-subscribed every year for our Reception classes, we strongly advise you to familiarise yourself with these criteria before applying. You will then be able to complete the application form, and supplementary information form, and also submit the correct evidence.
Applications for Reception are generally made online via Bexley Admissions at https://www.eadmissions.org.uk/eAdmissions/app or through paper copies available from Bexley and our own supplementary information form which can be obtained from the school. Our office staff are always happy to help you to complete these forms.
The published admission number of the school is 90.
Children are admitted to the Reception classes in the school year after their fourth birthday. All children will be admitted to the Reception classes in September. Parents may ask to defer the admission of their child until later in the school year or for their child to attend part time provided that every child is attending full time by the start of the term after their fifth birthday. Parents wishing to defer are invited to discuss that decision with the Principal.
Applications for admission to the Reception classes will be coordinated by the London Borough of Bexley. Decisions on allocations against the criteria are made by the Admissions Panel of the Governing Body. Queries about the Admissions Policy should be addressed to the Chairman of Governors, via the School.
Applications for admission are welcomed from all parents who may wish their children to be considered for a place at Christ Church (Erith) C of E Primary School. Applications for the Reception classes must be made on the common application form or online for the local authority in which the family lives. Any parent wishing to apply using criteria d and e (outlined in the Admissions Policy) must also submit a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) to the school. Both forms must be received by the published closing date. The SIF is available from the school or can be downloaded here and must be accompanied by the child’s birth certificate and your current council tax (original documents). Please bring these original documents into the school. Please do not send in the post.
