Munch Crunch, What's For Lunch?

This half term we have started learning about Minibeasts. Our half term CCCS homework was to find out about minibeasts and create our own. We used a variety of different tools and made lovely designs.

For Literacy, we have started reading The Hungry Caterpillar.

We have been focusing on re-telling the story, acting it out, and now we are moving on to creating our own version of the story. We have also been using our phonics to do some lovely writing. During Aspirations week we spoke about what we want to be when we are older and wrote about it.

For Maths, we have been using our mastery skills to pick apart each number. For each number below 10, we have discussed what is one more and one what, what is double, what is half, and all the different ways we can represent and make that number.

We have enjoyed exploring our environment and finding minibeasts, making minibeasts using our funky finger skills, building and using our physical development skills to make our way through different obstacles.

Please remember to check Tapestry to see everything else we have been up to!
