Rochester Festival

We visited Rochester Cathedral to take part in a 'Schools Festival' day.

We experienced the splendour of Rochester Cathedral. We took part in different interactive workshops and activities which explored the Cathedral building and gave us time to celebrate the journey we have had through our primary school.

The Bishop for the Diocese of Rochester joined us at the end of the day to lead our worship and affirmed the importance of the pupils and staff in our schools.

British Values

For Sports Day, we need House Captains for our school teams: Medway, Cray, Thames and Darenth.

We wrote letters to Mr. Elliott to explain why we would be the best candidate for the job. Each class selected two winners from each house.

The chosen children then presented a speech to the whole year group. We listened to all their points and then democratically voted for a Captain and Vice Captain for each house.
