Christian Identity Week 06/01/2020
As part of our Setting the Scene Butterfly to start the spring term, Lichfield class looked at how our school vision linked with each pupil: if we are each a unique child of God, with unique talents and gifts, then we each have a different strength that we can bring to our class. We looked on these as our super-powers, and then created multi-layer collages with paint, textured card, drawing, shading and applique to represent our new-found superhero qualities.
We also shared about how our own strengths can support others within our class, and that sometimes we need to identify a 'weakness' in order to seek the right support. We talked about growing our understanding of metacognition and how we are going to seek out things we don't yet know or understand and try and learn more about it.
In our English lessons, we also began our adventure with Zahra on the African savannah...
