December 2020
Before we broke up for the Christmas half term, we had a mixture of learning in school and then during the second week, learning at home.
At school, we were getting into the Christmas spirit. We watched the Christmas Pantomime where the teachers set up our classroom to look like a cinema. We enjoyed it very much! We were also learning our Christmas songs and doing lots of different activities to get us ready for Christmas. We made reindeer hats and Christmas decorations using salt dough!

As we moved into home learning, we explored the number 7 for maths. We practised forming the number 7, making it in different ways and matching numeral to quantity.

We has lots of fun writing letters to Father Christmas telling him what we would like for Christmas. We also tried to develop our fine motor skills with our funky fingers activities and enjoyed using our reading skills.
