Erith Foodbank

Christ Church (Erith) C of E Primary School is proud to support the local Foodbank in Erith.

Operating across the Bexley borough, this project provides emergency food and support to local people in crisis.  We are blessed that our nearest foodbank is in Erith and is part of the Trussell Trust's UK-wide foodbank network.

Frontline care professionals such as doctors and social workers give vouchers to people in crisis and they can then exchanges these vouchers for food at a foodbank distribution centre.

Update:  Christ Church (Erith) C of E Primary School is also a registered centre to distribute vouchers!

Local churches opened a distribution centre in Erith. based at Queen Street Baptist Church.  The centre operates on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 10am to 1pm.

Harvest 2020

For this year's Harvest Festival, we collected food for Erith Foodbank, who provide locally for those who find themselves in crisis.

Thank you all who donated, you have really made a difference.
