Happy Birthday Otis

We recently had an assembly to celebrate Otis's first birthday.  The song was written by St Paul’s class for the occasion.  We used the music from Stevie Wonder's song "Happy Birthday" to sing the lyrics.

You’ve been on Earth a Year
We all love you being here
Your ability is clear

Labradoodle is your breed
And you’re helping us to read
We continue to succeed
With you here sitting by our sides

It couldn’t fit more perfectly
Than to have a school party
On the day you came to be

You took a while to train
Through sunshine and through rain
Like us all you used your brain
And realised, Mrs Ball’s in charge!

Now your so obedient,
Gave up dog biscuits for lent
Some say you were heaven sent
To join the Christ Church Family

Now we all watch you agog
And we have loads more to blog
Reading isn’t such a slog
