Mr Gumpy's Outing... while Exeter stay at home
Once again we find ourselves having to stay at home instead of coming to school with our friends. But that doesn't mean our learning has stopped - oh no - Exeter Class have been as busy as ever.
We have been reading and learning the story of 'Mr Gumpy's Outing' by John Burningham:
Here is Mr Gumpy's boat made at home:
We've learned about other modes of transport too and drawn some:
We have still been learning our phonics in our RWI lessons and our spellings and handwriting are improving all the time:
Parents have become very creative with maths equipment so we are keeping up with learning all about each number and number bonds:
Whilst some of us are still coming to school and practising our physical development skills:
And work has started on the new building so we are also enjoying watching the diggers:
It has been a different but very productive start to the new year!
