Maps of Europe 22/10/20

In CCCS, we have been looking at the map of Europe and trying to identify the different countries by their shape. We used our atlas skills to find the names of each country and their capital cities - we also discussed how some of these countries' names have changed over time.

We then created our own fact file about a country of our choice. We gave the reader information about its location (using compass points) and explained how all countries in Europe are in the Northern Hemisphere. We also looked at how countries that are closer to the equator would be have a warmer climate than those which were further away.
