London Legacy - 19/06/19
We were lucky enough to be visited by a volunteer from the RSPB at school this term. As a class we discussed the animals we could find in our school and the microhabitats they need to survive. We used our school trip as an opportunity to extend our understanding into the wider environment.
We discussed the habitats we could see, and discussed how the Olympic Park had been specially designed to allow wildlife to flourish. We went on a nature hunt - searching for all the living things we could find. We drew the landscape of what we could see and then discussed how wildlife would be able to flourish in the environment.
