March 2022!

Someone's Been Eating My Porridge!

For our butterfly this term, we have been reading and learning about different traditional tales such as Jack and the Beanstalk, The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood and The Enormous Turnip.

For Literacy, Lincoln class have been reading the story 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears.' We enjoyed re-telling the story using the actions we created and using the different voices for the different characters. We have also written a character description for Goldilocks and an apology letter pretending to be Goldilocks.

World Book Day

On Thursday 3rd March, we celebrated World Book Day by coming into school dressed as a character from a book. We competed lots of fun activities which involved reading and some of our parents came into our classroom and read a story with us. 

Maths

In Maths we have been learning about doubling. We have showed doubles using blocks, we had to remember that there had to be the same amount of blocks on each side.

Creative

We have completed lots of creative activities for our CCCS butterfly this term. We have made magic

wands, handprint castles and many more.
