Natural History Museum - 13/11/19
St Paul's Class had to overcome the challenge of frighteningly large escalators in order to travel to the Natural History Museum in South Kensington. The class were a credit to the school as they manoeuvered the rush hour traffic to reach the museum.
Once at the NHM we completed the Mission to Mars workshop. Although our topic has nothing to do with space, we did apply our design and technology skills to plan, design and build a product. Once we had a rover we were tasked to create a code to allow it to explore 'Mars'.
Once our workshop was complete (and we tucked into our lunch), we explored the earthquakes and volcanoes exhibition. This gave us an opportunity to investigate what causes earthquakes and volcanoes leading to our new CCSS butterfly 'Welcome to Miami'.
