October 2022

As a Church of England School, worship and Religious Education is important to us. We also try to use opportunities to deepen our understanding and appreciation of the practices of other religious traditions. We recently spent a day focussed on exploring the Jewish festival of Sukkot. The children greatly enjoyed spending a day reading with torches inside our Sukkah!

One of the children's favourite activities in class is developing their creativity. We have already explored using watercolour paints, painting with sponges and collage. This half-term we have been developing our understanding of the world by finding out about people in the community who help us, for example Firefighters. We had great funding using junk to build models of Fire Engines.
