Our Class Trip - 01/11/19
We visited the Natural History Museum to take part in a "Cutting Edge" workshop. We learnt about the different teeth that mammals have and their functions.
Molars - these are the back teeth, they are used for crushing and grinding.
Canines- these are the middle teeth, they are used for ripping and tearing.
Incisors - these are the teeth at the front, they are used for cutting and slicing.
We were able to handle real skulls and feel the teeth that the animals had.

When we got back to school, we wrote recounts of our trip.
