English

In English, we have been discussing the issues raised in our text 'Pig Heart Boy.'

We spent time deciding who would be the most worthy candidate for a heart transplant from a range of given options and we then wrote persuasive letters using reasoning to good effect to plea for the transplant. 

We also wrote diary entries imagining how Cam must have felt when he woke up from his operation to find that his best friend had betrayed him!

Maths

In maths we have been learning how to use algebraic formulas to find unknown numbers. We have used this to calculate the size of angles.
