CCCS- Geography: The Roaring Ring of Fire
In Geography we have been learning about The Pacific Ring of Fire. We began by identifying its location on a map and researching why their are so many earthquakes and volcanoes in this area of the world. Then we learned how volcanoes are created and what is happening in the earth when a volcano erupts.
We also created our own artworks inspired by the artist Margaret Godfrey who created artworks of volcanoes using layered tissue paper and paint.
