Data, Data and More Data! - 11/03/20
This week in Wells class, we have been looking at how we can collect data, present it neatly and correctly so that it can be read and interpreted by ourselves and others.
We looked at various methods such as tally charts, pictograms and block charts. We discussed the importance of presenting data and how it can help us make improvement and identify trends.
Our final project was to organise and count of all the coins at our table. We then used a tally chart to organise the date before presenting it on a block chart. After that, we answered a variety of questions to help show they we can interpret the date we collected.
As an extension, we even made up our own questions for our work partners to answer!
