February 2022

Welcome to our February class blog! We are excited to show you what we have been doing this month, we have been very busy.

English:

In English, we have been learning our brand new text, 'The Papaya that Spoke'. We have really enjoyed reading our new text and it has made us laugh lots whilst reading it. We have created our very own story maps to help us learn the story and now we can tell the story confidently just by using our story maps.

Maths:

In maths, we have been learning how to estimate our answers to addition and subtraction questions to check our answers. This has meant that we have able to check our answers.

National Engineering Week

This week is National engineering Week, so we have focused on Caroline Haslett who was an electrician and designed home appliances for people in the early 1900's. We have designed our very own home appliances to help people in the home today.
