Message from the Chair of Governors

Welcome from the Chair of Governors

I joined Christ Church as a parent governor in 2022. I am a father of three children and along with my wife our family moved to the borough of Bexley in 2018. Since then we have grown to learn more about our community and have been making some positive connections with parents of pupils and staff at Christ Church C of E Erith primary school.

In my day job, I work with the NHS, local authorities, universities, the voluntary sector and companies to help improve the way care is delivered for those who need it, in the way that helps them most.

I am a Christian and serve in an outreach Sunday school at the church I attend with my family.

The school’s motto “God’s children, your children, our children, creatively learning together” nicely summarises my passion for helping young people thrive, regardless of their background as fellow image-bearers of God. I believe in the role and power of families and communities working together to create an environment for our children to thrive in and realise their full potential, so they can be of service to society and the world they live in.

It is a humble privilege to serve the school, the wider Trinitas Academy Trust and the children, families and staff represented in our community. If you see me around, feel free to say ‘hello’!
