National School Breakfast Programme
We are delighted to offer a FREE breakfast provision (bagel) in school for all our children who require it, ensuring they kickstart their day in a positive way.
We understand how important it is for children to have something to eat, as proper nourishment plays a vital role in supporting brain function and concentration.
The breakfast, is funded by Christ Church (Erith) Primary school and subsidised by the Department for Education through the National School Breakfast Programme. The programme is run by Family Action to support schools in England to provide children with a healthy breakfast at the start of the school day.
The bagels will be available from (8.45am-8.55am) in children’s respective classes.
Family Action is committed to promoting child development, believing that a healthy school breakfast, can greatly enhance children’s ability to learn and achieve their best. We encourage all parents to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity for their children.
Below you will find tips, ideas, information, recipes, videos and quizzes to make breakfast time an easy part of your morning routine at home.
