Mrs Ball's Journey to Japan

During the half term holiday, whilst pupils and staff were resting and preparing themselves for the second half of the autumn term, Mrs Ball travelled half way around the world to Japan.

She travelled there as part of a visit arranged by the Japan Foundation to look at language teaching in their schools.

During her visit, she met with teachers, school leaders and the Education Secretary to discuss and share ideas. 

Upon her return, Mrs Ball said "I had an amazing time in Japan! I've got so many ideas for us!" We will be looking at learning Japanese at Christ Church and plans are already underway to run a Japanese club after school in the spring term.
