08/10/21 Lichfield Class

This term in English, we have learnt several new Year 5 skills, including: cohesive devices, parenthesis and relative clauses, and have been trying our hardest to incorporate them into our writing.

We have been looking at the planet of Pandora (based on the film Avatar) and the creatures that live there. We used visual literacy to help us create a clearer picture in our head of the area and the Na'vi people. Using these skills, we have been able to write a setting description, create our own character and recreate a fantasy story!
