Welcome to Exeter Class!

To our new and existing parents, carers and friends - a very warm welcome to our class blog.

The children have made incredible progress in settling to the rules and routines of school. They have learnt where to hang coats, stow their bags and sit on the carpet. They have made new friends and begun to make relationships with the school staff. We have already enjoyed sharing so many stories.

Here are some of the activities we have been exploring and enjoying in our class:

Using our scissor skills to create create collages.

Making a variety of things from playdough by rolling, squashing, squeezing and cutting.

Exploring the sand with our friends.

Mixing and sploshing in the mud kitchen!

Cooking in the home corner.

Enjoying stories with our friends and grown-ups in the book corner.

It's been a lovely start to the school year and all the adults are incredibly proud of them - well done Exeter Class!

Check back in October for the latest exciting activities in our learning journey.

Parents, don't forget you can see lots more photos on your child's Tapestry account:
