Money Money Money - 13/10/20

In Wells class, we looked at the value of different coins. Once we were confident with each coins' value, we investigated how we could use different coin combinations to pay for a variety of different items.

This apple costs 16p. Which coin combinations could you pay for it?

5p + 5p + 5p + 1p = 16p

10p + 5p + 1p = 16p

2p + 2p + 2p + 2p + 2p + 2p + 2p + 2p = 16p

Can you help us and find the remaining combinations?

By the end of the lesson, children in the class were able to use a variety of different combinations to pay for different items in the class.

Well done Wells class.
