Extra Curricular Activities

As far as possible, we try and integrate one subject with another, to make learning more relevant.  We also try to give children as many out of the classroom experiences as possible (trips, workshops etc) to bring learning to life.

 

Throughout the year we offer a variety of after-school and lunchtime clubs. Please note that clubs change each year as they very much depend on the current teaching staff’s areas of expertise and other commitments.

 

Charging

 

We do not charge for any curricular activities. However, several activities like educational outings or visitors to the school cannot happen without donations from parents. Periodically you may be asked to donate something towards an activity.  If you cannot make a donation or are unwilling to donate, please have a quiet word with the class teacher. Activities will be cancelled if insufficient donations are received. However, please note that this does not include extra curricular clubs organised and run by external agencies.

 

If your child damages school equipment or property, you will be charged for part or all of the cost of replacing/mending.
