February blog!

Welcome to our February blog! We have had lots of fun in February. Here is what we've gotten up to! 

English

In English we have started reading the story 'The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark'. We have explored the text and how the main character (Plop) was feeling throughout the story. It has a fantastic message of trying to overcome your fears. 

Maths

In maths we have been working out lots of word problems so we can use the skills we have been learning in class. We used our rekenreks and our numicon!

Dress to express!

We had an opportunity in February to come in dressed however we wanted to express ourselves. Here are some of our outfits.

Engineering week

During engineering week, we looked at Isambard Kingdom Brunel and tried to create bridges out of paper. Here are some pictures of us working in a team to create them.
