Welcome to our December class blog!

We are excited to show you what we have been doing this month!

This week has been safari week and we have been completing lots of fun activities. 

In design and technology, we have been making our very own pizzas. We used wraps as our pizza base, we then added passata to the wrap. We had a choice of ingredients to choose from: cheese, mushrooms, peppers and sweetcorn. We then cooked our pizzas in the oven. We really enjoyed chopping our ingredients and choosing what to put on our pizzas.

In computing, we have been using turtle academy to programme the turtle to create lots of different shapes. Each week we have enjoyed learning new commands to use so that the turtle can be programmed to do different things such as making shapes, changing character and even writing words. 

The build up to Christmas has been very fun we have been to see the pantomime Aladdin, we had a live Christmas read with Santa and we also had out Christmas party where we played lots of games and got to win prizes. We have had so much fun.
