23/11/20 - St Paul's Class

In St Paul's Class we have been developing narratives that are based on historical settings. Linking to remembrance, we used a text called 1944 that follows a young boy living in London during the Blitz.

We have focused on using apostrophes to show possession, using a range of conjunctions and using descriptive language to develop characters and settings.

First we took on the role of another character in the story to write our own version of 1944 in first person. Then we wrote a narratives based on different historical setting. We focused this story on the Anglo-Saxons.

Here are some of our pieces of writing based on the Anglo-Saxons.
