19/11/21 Chichester Class

In November we have been reading the book 'The Little Hen and the Great War'. We thoroughly enjoyed learning the story and using it to inspire our fantastic writing. The story is about a little hen whose mundane life gets flipped upside down by a sudden explosion and inspires her to go to war with the brave soldier who saved her.

After we had spent sometime learning the text through story maps and some drama we wrote diary entries and the little hen reflecting on her dramatic day that changed her life. Please read through some of our fantastic work.
