Our Planet, Our Duty- 4/7/19

For CCSS, we have been learning about how our actions can effect the planet and how it is our job to ensure we are taking care of our planet. In English we have been learning about the Arctic ice melts and the effects it is having on the animals that live there. We discovered that factories let of gas that is creating a blanket around the Earth and trapping the heat in which is causing the ice to melt. We learnt that by recycling and reducing the amount of time we use electricty can help stop this.

On Thursday 4th July, we had a science fair on the field where the children participated in activities that  helped us learn what we can do to protect our planet. These activities were Recycle,  Use Less Power, Save Water, Prevent Climate Change, Walk More and Save Animals Habitats.
