Year 5: Gloucester Class

In our PESHR lessons we have been thinking about what we would like to do when we grow up.  We have a wide range of ideas, from accountants to midwives, builders and teachers. We thought about the steps we need to take to reach our goals.

For the past few weeks, we have enjoyed developing our skills in writing detailed character and setting descriptions by writing our own fables based on the story of 'The Girl and The Fox'. We also had to think or a moral for our own story, 'Anna and the Snake'.

In our PESHR lessons, we have also been talking about a healthy lifestyle, which includes eating a healthy diet. We devised our own healthy plates of food.

We have started a study of our local area in our geography lessons. We drew maps of the local area and thought about what we can see and hear in Erith and which buildings and services there are here.
