Welcome to our first blog of the year. We are very excited to start our learning journey in Year 2. 

English

In English we have started learning about different traditional tales. We started by reading the traditional tale of Cinderella. We enjoyed using expanded noun phrases to write a character description for Cinderella.

Maths

In Maths, we have been learning how to partition two-digit numbers into tens and ones. We have used our dienes to help us.
