Safety Spotters Conference

Just before the Easter holidays, four members of our School Council particpated in the first Safety Spotters Conference held by Bexley Council at the Civic Offices.

 

They completed workshops learning about:

 

• Road safety - understanding how to behave on public transport and the importance of walking and cycling
• E-saftey - understanding about how to keep safe online and what to do if they have any worries especially in relation to cyber-bullying
• Health - understanding how cigarettes can cause a lot of damage 

 

The children also gave a presentation to the rest of the school's present all about Positive Play. They had spent many lunchtimes leading up to the event creating this presentation and they did fantastically!
