10/12/21 Chester Class

In Chester class over the last few weeks we have been reading the story ‘Monkey Puzzle’ by Julia Donaldson.

We have learnt the story and used some actions to help us to remember key parts.

We have produced lots of writing including a character description of little monkey using expanded noun phrases.

This week we have started to innovate the story by changing the monkey to a different animal. We chose a squirrel who is lost in the park and is trying to find their mum.
