Together for a Better Internet- 11/2/20

In Winchester Class, we read a story about a bunny called Lulu. For Christmas Lulu was  given a laptop and she logged onto Facebook and started to chat to some friends from her school. One day a newfriend called Fifi added her on Facebook. Her profile picture was very cute with a little flower on. They started talking and Fifi told Lulu that she was also a bunny and she was six years old. One day Fifi asked Lulu to meet her at the park. When Lulu got there there was no other bunny. Fifi was a crocodile who tricked Lulu.

After this story, we discussed what Lulu should have done when Fifi sent her a friend request and when Fifi asked to meet up. We spoke about the importance of telling someone if something had upset you online. We discussed what we can do to ensure we are using the internet correctly and how to stay safe when using it.
