Summer is coming

April has been very short due to the Easter holidays but we’ve still managed to do a lot of work.

We have started to learn about a story called ‘Lila and the Secret of Rain’ which is about a girl who lives in a village where it hasn’t rained for a very long time. She goes on a journey to try and make the sky sad with her stories so that it will rain.

Below are some pictures of the story map we are using to help us to learn the story:

We have been on our class trip to Hall Place.

It was all about toys from the past.

The children had a wonderful time with Miss Griffiths learning about toys that children in the past used to play with.

Thank you once again for the support from the parent volunteers as without them the trip would not have been able to happen.
