Chichester's December Blog 18/12/2020

Well its been a fantastically busy end to the year in Chichester Class. We've been measuring mass and volume, learning about time and mastering adverbs of time. We've also been finding plenty of time to do festive things! One of the nicest things we did was to round off the year in RE looking at how Christians use the festival of Advent to prepare for Christmas. As part of this we have been finding out about the Jesse Tree which follows Jesus's family tree.

We focused on the stories of Joseph and of King David. In class we spent time using drama to re-tell their stories and summarise their part in the Bible to each other. Here are some photos or us learning and retelling their stories.

Have a blessed and restful Christmas. Enjoy time with your families and remember - keep reading!

A very Merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
