12/03/21 - Canterbury Class
Our class text is 'Pig Heart Boy' by Malorie Blackman. This week we have been writing persuasive letters. In the story, Cameron has been chosen for a pig heart transplant. Dr Bryce, the surgeon who will be carrying out the operation, has just received a letter from an animal right's activist saying that the operation is cruel and shouldn't go ahead. We have put ourselves into Cameron's shoes and have written a letter to Dr Bryce persuading him to continue with the operation as planned.
