In Gibraltar class we have been enjoying reading our class text - 'The Nowhere Emporium.'

We have been following the life of an Orphan named Daniel, who finds himself sheltering in a magical shop owned by a mysterious man named Lucien Silver. This shop, is no ordinary shop and contains an immense amount of rooms that contain wonders to challenge your imagination. In class, we have studied how the author uses suspense to good effect and we have planned an amazing wonder of our own. This week we began to write about what happens to Daniel when he visits our wonder in the style of Ross Mackenzie. Why not read our opening paragraphs below.
