Reading Buddies- 11/1/22

School Parliament have introduced a Reading Buddy scheme for the school. This will involve a class being paired with another class from a different year group. The children in the classes will be paired up, during the sessions, the children will take it in turns reading a book to one another. 

In School Parliament, the children discussed why this scheme will help the school. They believe that introducing reading buddies will help children develop their reading skills and expand their understanding of vocabulary. Also, it will help the younger and older children to make positive relationships and it will develop their communication and confidence. 

The Reading Buddy Scheme will start after the February half term.
