Black History in CW

Christ Church (Erith) CofE Primary School is proud to have a diverse mixture of pupils' heritage, backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities. We celebrate our uniqueness through our school vision but also celebrate our togetherness as a school family. During the autumn term, the Leading Lights team have chosen key Christian values (from our jigsaw below) for each week's theme.

 

 

We have then discussed a "Hero" we could learn about, who has embodied this value in the way they lead their life. As part of Black History, the Leading Lights team named several prominent figures from the 19th and 20th Centuries, who have made a difference because of the way they lived:
