In English we have continued to explore ways in which we are able to modify and innovate upon our class text, whilst retaining some of its essential elements. We used this to complete our retelling of our model text, using editing and rewriting for publication from our first drafts.
In Maths we began our learning of fractions by identifying, naming and writing equivalent fractions of a given fraction. We developed our learning by recognising and converting between mixed numbers and improper fractions. We compared and ordered fractions of which denominators are multiples of the same number. We used this knowledge to add and subtract fractions with and without the same denominator.
