April blog!

Welcome to our April blog! Most of April was taken up by our Easter holidays but we have still completed lots of work. We hope you enjoy reading about it. 

English

In English we have been reading the story 'Lila and the Secret of Rain' by David Conway & Jude Daly. It is a story about a young girl called Lila who lives in a Kenya. In the story, their village has not seen rain in weeks and their crops are beginning to fail. Lila is desperate to find a solution. Here is our story map to help us retell the story independently. 

Maths

In maths we have revisited addition and subtraction. To make it extra challenging, we have been looking at missing number problems and using the inverse.
