October blog

Welcome to Wells October blog! We have had a very busy month in Wells class this month. Here are some of the exciting things we have been exploring.

English

In English we have been learning about the story of Traction Man. Traction Man is an action figure who brings inanimate objects to life and believes that some are villains. We wrote lots of diary entries as Traction man about all his adventures. Here are some for you to read.

We thought about all of the things in our class that could become villains!! We encountered Creepy Candle who had fire powers and Mischievous Medical Box who tried to trap us!

Maths

In our maths this month we have started to look at fractions and money. We began by looking at halves and doubles to 20 and then started to look at quarters. We have explored all of the coins that we use and ordered them in terms of their values.

CCCS

In CCCS we have been thinking about our similarities and differences in PESHR. We spoke to our partners and the people we sit near about things that are the same and different between us, including the way we look, our likes and dislikes.

In science we were looking at how to have a healthy lifestyle, so for DT we had to create a healthy fruit face, this was lots of fun and we got to try some fruits we had never had before!!

Thank you for reading our blog this month and we hope you enjoyed looking at our work as much as we enjoyed creating it!

Miss Goodson :)
