Severndroog Castle - 11/10/19

As part of our history topic on castles, Wells class visited Severndroog castle on Shooters Hill. The class were greeted by some friendly volunteers who were very knowledgeable about the history of the castle. After a tour and discussion, the children were able to stand at the top and take in the incredible views of London. 

 

After lunch, the children went into the woods on a 'Mini Beast' hunt and found a variety of insects and creatures. 

 

Overall, it was a lovely, educational trip which the children (and parent helpers) thoroughly enjoyed!
