Subject Safari - 13/03/20

In our first week back after the February half term, we had our very first subject safari week! This meant focussing on a different subject each day for a week. Our focus was on the first successful plane flight and we looked at the lives of Orville and Wilbur Wright in the form of a story.

After finding out about their invention, we spent a day looking at the history of planes and placed these on our own timeline. The next day we created our own music. After that we made our own planes out of bottles and cardboard. On the last day we took them out to see if they could fly and we also thought about the seasonal weather patterns and which conditions were best to fly in.
