Uniform
CHRIST CHURCH (ERITH) C OF E PRIMARY: SCHOOL UNIFORM
FOUNDATION STAGE
Uniform for Reception is slightly different to the pupils in the main school. Children learn outside every day – weather permitting. Therefore the uniform is more informal, comfortable, and therefore more appropriate for the Foundation Stage environment.
We will encourage the children to take care when using messy materials, including giving them aprons to wear, it will be easier if your children does not wear ‘good’ clothes to school!

Please note for health reasons, children are not permitted to wear any of their school uniform for PE including school shirts, jumpers, sweatshirts, skirts or school shoes.
Football shirts are not permitted for PE although they may be worn for after school sports clubs.
All kit should be clearly marked with the child's name and class and preferably kept in a Christ Church PE bag. Other drawstring bags maybe used but we ask that children do not bring plastic shopping bags as these can easily rip or large bulky bags as there is limited space in the cloakroom areas.
The PE kit should be kept in school at all times as the PE timetable can be changed at short notice.
