Chichester's July Blog 17th July 2021

The week starting Monday 5th July was 'WOW' week. The children have the opportunity to direct their own learning by choosing what they want to learn within each lesson. The children have chosen to spend the week exploring either Fashion, Sea Creatures, Euro 2021 or Castles.

On Monday we had a day linked to our current Butterfly looking at a country that is sending a team to the Olympics!

We were lucky enough to look at India. The children were fantastic and brought so much enthusiasm to their learning. Lots of them dressed up in clothing linked to India. We are also lucky that two children from the class have visited India. We spent some time with them telling us about their experiences and then we got to task questions. We had lots and lots of questions about the food of India!

We have so many photos of the day. Here are some for you to enjoy.

Tuesday of WOW week was another fantastic day. Its really hard to know what to talk about, but the DT work was a real highlight. Within our themes of Euro 2021, Sea Creatures, Fashion and Castles the children worked on so many great design ideas. We had models of shops to sell fashion, lanterns, towers and model football stadiums. Here are (just some) of the best photos.
