Winchester's Adventures- 7/3/19

In science we have been learning about plants. For our school trip we went to Creekside Discovery Centre in Deptford to find out more about animals and plants.

During our visit we went pond dipping to find out what animals and plants live in a pond. We found lots of little bugs and plants that live in the water such as a water beetle and pond weed.

After our pond dipping we walked around the outdoor area to see what flowers we could find and how many snails we could find.

After lunch we walked over to a local park. When we were there we went on a flower hunt to see if we could find all the flowers on our list. Then we went on a scavangers hunt were we had to find something hard, something soft, something that has been eaten, something that has a fallen of a tree and something colourful. Then we were given a bit of sticky paper and we had to walk around the park and pick things from the floor to create a picture.
