Leon and the Place Between

Leon and the Place Between is a story about a young boy called Leon who wants to get his siblings to believe in magic. It is set in the circus and involves Leon entering 'The Place Between' during Abdul Kazam's magic show. We have completed lots of writing inspired by this story including diary entries, interview questions and letters to Leon. 

This story links perfectly to our butterfly 'The Show Must Go On' which is all about performing. 

Before writing, we explored the book in lots of detail and made inferences and predictions based on the first page and front cover.
